While this product very well may be as fabulous as its been reviewed, I've got some issues. One, no kind of directions came with the product, only a small note pleading for a 5-star rating. Well, it isn't going to come from me. Now I understand there are Youtube videos and tutorials out there, but I only know of this by my own research, not from the retailer. Bottom line is, they should provide SOMETHING. I have no idea what the oddly shaped gasket thing is for, I have little hope in finding the right sized Phillips screwdriver, so now I'll have to buy one online and wait for that to come it. I suppose you get what you pay for.

WHEN I ORDERED THE ITEM IT ARRIVED ONE DAY LATE AND I RETURNED THE ITEM BECAUSE IT WAS DEFECTIVE AND NOT YET RECEIVED MY REFUND! WILL NEVER ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN.

Received as advertised. No problems installing.
Installation took about an hour, but that was because I was being careful.
Followed along with video replacement instructions found online via google search.
There are lots of DIY videos available online.
Screen was defective August 14, 2010

The screen sent to me was defective. I know this because after going through the whole process of taking apart the phone and putting on the new screen, I went to the apple store to see if I broke any of the cable connections in the process. They carefully looked over it although they could no longer help fix it, and told me that the screen purchased was defective and no error on my part in the assembly process. I STILL have yet to get this screen replaced!!
I need a new one, hellooooo!
