I purchased this case to replace the original case that came with my 9650. Fits like a glove, has the magnets that put the BB in sleep mode when it resides in the case. The main argument was that this case has a much slimmer, yet secure belt clip compared to the one on the original case - it is much more convenient for daily use. Made very well, uses high end material (leather and inner soft felt liner). Holds my BB tight and safely and has a strong magnet on the flap. You can wear it vertically or horizontally, as the belt clip rotates with secure, defined stop positions. The only minor criticism is that the outer bottom of the flap does not feature an enforcing edge - I could picture a metal overlay or a nylon border. This spot that you touch every time you access your BB is prone to wear. I added a nylon border which fixed the problem. Overall, highly recommended, stylish and well-made case. Make sure you check your BB's dimensions since not all will fit - It is specified for the 9700, it fits my 9650, but it certainly won't work for any taller or wider BBs.

Just purchased a new BB9700 and wanted to get a good case for it. Saw this and picked it up.
Pros:
-Durable, very sturdy, once your BB is in it, it's not going anywhere and won't be damaged by drops.
-Good feel of the leather, quality stuff
Cons:
-Maybe it's just me, but it had a funny odor when I first got it...haha, maybe it's the lambskin?
-Price could be a bit lower, but I'm just nitpicking.

I like the case with its compact design (especially the very compact clip compared to the usual Blackberry rotating clips).
The leather had an ugly smell initially after unpacking it, but 3 days outside in the garden got rid of it.
I'm very happy with it now. The BB 9700 fits into the case very tightly, removal and insertion is quick, straight forward and without hassle.

I used this leather case for about several weeks and am very happy with it.
The build quality is good. The leather is of top quality. My BB 9700 fits very well in this elegant case, neither too tight nor too loose. Highly recommended over the OEM BB case (which is bigger and not made of genuine leather).

I got these cases in the mail in a reasonable timeframe but they were not what I wanted so I returned them to Blue Harbor per their instructions on 19 April. I returned the items using express mail with a delivery receipt so I know they got the return. To date, I have still not heard anything from them about my refund and today is May 24th. I will not buy anything else from Blue Harbor.
