The Pearl 8110 continues to offer all the communication features that you've come to expect from Blackberry smartphones, including email served up by the BlackBerry Internet Service and a full menu of messaging options (SMS, MMS, and IM). And it's easy to type emails and messages on the go using the Pearl's SureType QWERTY keypad, which provides word completion, advanced editing, and the ability to learn new words. Weighing just 3.38 ounces and just 0.55 inches thin, the Pearl 8110 manages to fit a QWERTY keyboard onto the handset's slim frame. Each button on the keyboard shares two letters and the unit automatically determines which letter is the intended one based on what it predicts you are trying to spell. This unique predictive text technology, known as SureType, makes the Pearl 8110's diminutive size possible. SureType also learns the words you use most often, further enhancing your typing speed. It sports a large 240 x 260 screen that supports over 65,000 colors--plenty of real estate to view your e-mails, Web browser content, messaging sessions, and attachments. The venerable BlackBerry trackwheel has been replaced on this model with an innovative four-way trackball placed below the screen. On the rear of the handheld, you'll find a 2.0-megapixel camera and a self portrait mirror. The handheld's MicroSD memory card slot is located inside the device, behind the battery. The equipment purchased for its prestigious website came out bad, the phone switches itself off, battery charge and does not grasp here in my country I was notified that it has no basis because the microprocessor is damaged, it would appreciate in advance if I puedebn help something .-

Very disapointed with the phone. It was obvious the guts of the phone were refurbished, but the outside casing was new. However the back would not stay on. The box was used, relabeled, and did not go with that model of phone. I sent back immediately!!!

i suppose the phone do whatever it does, i mean, just luck at the price...but in this case i have being swindle!! the phone was not new, and not only that, i took it to a repair center and they tell me it was totally broken!!! so.. if you are thinking on buy this model, go for it but no with this seller. if you do so, you are going to loose your money!!!!! i garantee you that!!!

I bought this Blackberry phone and gave a gift to my friend abroad.I bought this phone as unlocked, but somehow Bluetooth is not working and not able to pair any devices.
Also, the slot for memory card is not functional...I recommend not to buy.
