I love this phone!! True the screen is small and difficult to type on(I have big thumbs), but I don't care I love this phone! It is sooooo cool that you can flip it over to silence it... the widgets are super cool and user friendly... it weighs nothing, I have to keep checking that I have it on me, but I don't care I love this phone! [...] has fast, fast, fast shipping... an awesome customer service dept... and the absolute best merchandise anywhere!! This may sound like a fake review, and saying that it's not only makes it worse, but you honestly can't go wrong with Amazon or [...].

im sorry , but most of their products are european base, i got this LG GD510 as a replacement from my previous order from them. guess what, the first one is in Greek language the 2nd one is in Polish language w/ an insert of Quick reference guide in english..its complex , i'm not using it..and decided to give it as a gift to my niece..my niece said too small for texting & not responding well when you hit the letters..

totalmente hermoso aparato, el diseño es excelente y unico, me lo traje a Ecuador y fuciona bien. me encanta la pantalla y la presentacion del menu en ella. a pesar de ser "Unlocked" no lo puedo usar en una de las operadoras que hay aca, pero al menos me funciona en una de ellas. cool cell!

Smallest 3 inch touchscreen out there. Operating system is simple and not to much customization is allowed- no apps just a small set of widgets. OK Facebook, Twitter and MySpace funtionality. My biggest problem with the set is no 3.5 mm jack- you have to use micro USB headsets instead. You can buy an adapter. 3 homescreens- first is widget screen second is "livesquare" screen, and the 3rd is contacts. The "Livesquare" screen is strange- its a visual representation of you communication log (voice, email, messnger) that is supposed to make tracking ongoing conversations and communications easier. Seemed easier for me to ignore, but really haven't spent much time trying to understand its functionality.
Music interface is usable, but not great, and videos are played through the file manager. Not very sophisticated. That said, had no problem playing MP4s which look very good on the screen. Controls are easy and intuative.
Excellent build quality- solid phone feel.
Conclusion- I guess you'd call it an ultra-compact touch screen feature phone. Good if portability is your primary concern. I load it with an 8gb SD with music and movies when I don't want to carry a smartphone. Also cheap enough that loss or damage of the Pop won't be too upsetting.

I got this phone because I'm disabled with very limited dexterity. I find just about all phones to be unusable: flip phones and slide phones I can't open; Blackberry style the keys are impossibly small; even most candy bar phones require too much force to work the keypad. I tried the iPhone but found it too big to hold and use easily with one hand, although like the iPad, it has a very responsive touch screen. So maybe the smaller LG GD510 would be the answer. All I can say is: what a huge disappointment. The touch screen is simply unusable. Either, and unpredictably, a large amount of force is needed, or the slightest wisp sets it off. Scrolling is impossible: sliding the finger through the list of name in the address book either does nothing or dials the first number the finger comes near. The scroll bars were equally useless. And it wasn't just me: all the able bodied people I gave the phone to had, if not the same difficulty, then at least some difficulty. If the touch screen hadn't completely defeated me, there are enough other annoyances: the keys lock almost instantly requiring yet more key strokes; using the key pad to search the contact list it seems quite random whether a letter or number appears; a 2.5mm ear piece jack would be easier to use than mini USB; switching between portrait and landscape modes doesn't always work right; and finally, although a 3" screen seemed nice, it really needs a 10 year old's fingers to use it. In fact, once I find a phone I can use, I'll give this to my 10 year old.
