THE LOCKED "UNLOCKED" PHONE FM THE KINGS July 16, 2010 CARLOSEDO The PALM CENTRO QUADBAND SMARTPHONE UNLOCKED I bouugth works perfectly as a PDA. However, when installing the SIM card I use (the same that works with other two PALM unlocked phones I have!) and turn the phone on, it starts with the AT&T hello! screeen and displays a warning saying "your phone cannot be used with this SIM card". Consecuently I deduct that the UNLOCKING of the phone is not properly done. As I said before, it's the same SIM card that works with a couple of PALM unlocked phones I have, two different models of TREO phones. That's why I hate it.
bad phone July 1, 2010 Steve Patterson (BIRMINGHAM, AL, US) waited 2 weeks for the phone. When I got it it did not work. Screen was dirty. This was supposed to be a refurb not a used phone.
Bad choice June 16, 2010 Joseph Batz (Guatemala City) The phone doesn't work, the Hotsync thing start at any time, is not unlocked...I'm very mad about this
So far, still good! June 2, 2010 P. Nguyen (San Jose, CA) Been using this phone for more than a year and so far works well! Calls are still clear, buttons are usable. Speakerphone is handy! However battery like got worse which made me had to purchase a new battery. And not that many apps anymore as companies focus more on making apps on the ever so popular iPhones and now, Android.
one crazy annoying glitch that was solved by palm.com after 7+ calls August 16, 2009 sine quinn non (washington, dc) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
i kept getting alerts every 3 or 4 minutes saying that there was some error with my mail system, and i did not have email on my plan .. it took many calls but the folks at [....] were patient ... i did a hard reset and they helped me do it without losing my info .. so all's well that ends well...
