| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description The Samsung B5702 is the first dual-standby mobile phone that also supports quad-band connectivity. The B5702 has two LED lights that show which SIM card is being used. The functionality can be customised with various themes, melodies, and screensavers to help identify easily which SIM card is in use. The B5702 easily switches between SIM cards via the hot key on the side of the phone. The Samsung B5702 allows users to check e-mails and enjoy full internet browsing, with both SIM cards. The B5702 has an audio player that supports various formats including video recording, a 3 megapixel camera and an FM radio with RDS.

| Customer Reviews: Awesome!! August 15, 2010 marion buehring (Fairbanks, Alaska) This phone is great for travel. There is no need to open the battery compartment on the phone to swap SIMs when going from country to country. Now, I don't have to worry about losing my SIM that I'm not currently using. I just load both SIMS in the phone and go. It works everywhere but S Korea. (CDMA-2100)
This Samsung is quad band GSM (850/900/1800/1900) on BOTH SIMS. I have tried other dual-sim, quadband phones, only to be disapointed in the OS, or just how cheaply they were made. (One phone only lasted 36 hrs before I broke it.) This Samsung phone is well made, durable, and just feels great in the hands. It locks automatically when its slide is closed, ensuring no 'pocket dialling.' The menu is similar to other Samsung phones, very user-friendly interface. It also plays mp3s and mp4 movies. With a few files on the micro SD, this phone makes a great traveling companion. The only downside of this phone is that it does not have a touchscreen. But for the tech-savvy, touchscreens are available for self installation.
A great phone... July 25, 2010 Geoffrey Wathen (Oakland, CA United States) This is a fantastic phone. I had been looking for a quad band, dual-sim, dual-standby phone for a while with little luck. I had tried some of the Asian off-brand phones, but none of the ones that I tried worked well, or felt good in my hand.
Now, to the B5702:
Pros: Solid construction. It feels like a well engineered product. The slide mechanism is smooth and tight. The keypad is responsive and has a very nice tactile feedback. The dual-sim aspect is the key selling point for this phone. It allowed me to get away from carrying two phones. However, even without that feature, this phone has a lot going for it. The voice quality is outstanding, certainly rating among the best I've used.
Cons: The number one complaint that I have about this phone is that the speaker phone function doesn't have a high enough volume. If you're in a relatively quiet room, the speaker phone works quite well, but if there is much background noise you have to hold the phone up to your ear to hear, even when it's on speaker phone. The only other significant complaint is that the camera on this phone rates among the worst of the point-and-shoot cameras as far as shutter response speed. Despite this, the actual image quality is pretty good. Also, for those that care, this is not a 3G phone, relying rather on the older Edge technology.
All around, this is a great phone. While it is not truly a Smart Phone, for those who are looking for a great phone with dual-sim capabilities, this is a first class choice.
