Both dead junk.
Either due to the non-amazon seller or must be the headset.
Never had this problem purchasing anything else from Amazon before.

I purchased the Blueant V1 voice operated Bluetooth Headset based on the good service receive from the Z9I headset that was unfortunately lost. I found the V1 very easy to set up and pair with my 9 yr old Sony Erickson Z525 flip phone. Unfortunately, I became somewhat frustrated almost immediately because the headset seemed to loose connection with the phone and multiple calls failed with no warning. The party to whom I was speaking was simply disconnected. I contacted the customer service for Blueant and after the second or third contact, I was authorized to return the headset for repair or exchange. I am still waiting for the final result to that transaction.
I have susequently purchased a new Iphone4 and am anxious to test the repaired or replaced V1 headset with the new phone. I expect that if the problem was my phone, related to technology advances, there should't be any problem with the state of the art Iphone4. I really liked the Blueant Z9I and expect the V1 to live up to the advertised ease of use and quality of service. I hope all ends well!

I've used the headset for about a month now and overall it is a good headset. My only complaints are that it doesn't fit in my ear very well and falls out / feels loose all the time. Luckily it has the ear hoop. My other complaint is the user interface is not intuitive. I have an iPhone, so I always want to use my Voice Control, not the blueant commands. Luckily this head set does have a way to activate the iPhone Voice Control, but I wish i could just disable the headset features all together so it go straight to my phone with one click. I also find it very unintuitive and difficult to have to double click to end a call. I've had many times trying not to leave a message on a VM and I end up leaving one because i couldn't end the call...it should be one click answer, one click end call. I also have problems if I leave the headset on and return to it and make it connect to my phone. It says it connects, but i get no audio. So this headset is not perfect. No one has complained about sound quality though so that is good.

Great product with amazing sound quality, the only issue with my Nokia N900 is that sometimes the call does not drop and I have to turn it off and on again.
Other than this, I am a very satisfied customer.

I've tried em all. Jabra, Motorola, Jawbone and Plantronics. This one works better than them all. Its comfortable, loud and the voice activation works amazingly well. I was a little skeptical at first but i was extremely happy with the performance. But...that's not why i'm here. I had no intention of creating a review for this because it had enough reviews. However, that all changed because of what happened this past weekend. Because this thing is so small, i accidentally left it in my shirt pocket and threw my shirt into the hamper. When laundry time came around i threw the shirt with the headset into the laundry not realizing what i had just done. I only realized my mistake when i went to the washer after the cycle and was putting the clothes into the dryer i saw the device in the bottom of the wash bin. Boy was i sad and a little angry at what i had done. However, upon further inspection it still appeared to be in perfect brand new condition with no visual damage whatsoever. So i left it on my desk for about a week to dry off and decided to plug it in and give it a charge a few days ago. To my surprise, the light turned red signaling that it was charging. So i laughed and decided to wait things out. After a couple hours i fired it up and hit the button and i heard the words "say a command". Still a little skeptical i told it "am i connected". Then it said..."attempting to connect......your phone is connected." At that moment my jaw dropped and i have since decided to become a Blue Ant user for life. I used it in a 60 minute conference call this morning and it was as if nothing changed. I seriously think they should market this device as water resistant. I would not hesitate to wear this in the rain...i have that much faith in it.
